Libraries & Information Services

The Central Library, designed by Myron Hunt and H.C. Chambers, was the first building completed in Pasadena’s Civic Center Plan in 1927.

Options for Learning provides high-quality early childhood education, childcare, and family support services to low-income and underserved communities.

Office of the Young Child

Our Vision is to be a city that nurtures every child and creates an environment where young children are healthy, safe and find early success in school and life.

WIC helps families with women and/or children who are at nutritional risk by providing nutrition education along with monthly food benefits.
