We Want to Hear from You
Parents & Caregivers of Transgender and Gender-Expansive (TGX) Children and Youth
We're working to understand the experiences of parents and caregivers like you to improve access to resources, support, and services for families with transgender and non-binary children. Your insights will help us:
-
Identify gaps in community resources and support systems
-
Develop better training materials for service providers
-
Advocate for policies that support transgender youth and their families
-
Reduce barriers that lead to family separation and foster care placement
Your voice matters. The wisdom you've gained navigating this journey can help create a more supportive environment for families just beginning theirs.
This research is part of a collaborative project with Planned Parenthood Pasadena and San Gabriel Valley, with the goal of helping reduce the number of children and youth entering the foster care system.

We work to reduce structural racism and systemic inequities so that
